Wonderful EARLY German China Head Couple This darling couple is all original and both are in fantastic condition for their age! No cracks, hairlines or restoration to either dolls bisque…girl has some paint missing in a couple of areas on her hair. Sweet girl has such a beautiful face! Gorgeous eyes!! Nicely painted features and beautiful dark wispy hair around her face….just adorable! The girl stands 17” and wears her original regional clothing! Her blouse is made from early patterned fabric, her red wool skirt has nice pleats (some moth damage)and on top is a dark navy cotton apron. Her muslin body is original and she has paper mache arms (one finger chipped) and her feet have separately stitched toes! Darling boy has bigger blue eyes….and equally nice painted features with the wispy hair too! The boy stands 16” tall and is also dressed in his original clothing! Nice cotton shirt with a navy blue vest and black wool pants (pants have a split in back..see photo). He too is on his original muslin body with paper mache arms….one leg has a small hole as seen in the photos. Neither have shoes. Just a fantastic little couple….so sweet!!
